(Buenos Aires, September
29, 2008). We can proudly say this is an almost complete series, only
three identifications have not been assigned (LV-AXB, AXK and AXQ), The
assignment of identifications for this series started in the 80's,
however , these series was resucitated during the first five years of
2000. Between 2004 and 2005 nine airplanes were identified with that
prefix. Among those airplanes the second Aerolineas Argentinas 'Queen of
the Skies' Boeing 747-400 LV-AXF, that is still in service.

The assignment of these IDs for these
series started at the begining of the 80's, and it was pretty common to
assign this numbers to local manufacturers. Because of this there are a
lot of aircrafts from Chincul and Aeroboero (this system change lately
to the series LV-F001). There is an interesting story about this
reassignment, that involves the LV-AXG. As it can be seen in the
attached chart, there are two airplanes with that number, a Chicul/
Piper Pawnee and a Cessna Skywagon. The reason is that the Pawnee was
registered in 1987 and lately exported to Brasil, then the number was
reassigned to the Cessna 188.
